I remember that I touched on the issue of men's cosmetics some time back. Well, I mentioned something about face powder or somewhere near that. But I found these today:

MD Skincare All-in-One Tinted Mosturiser
USD$44
Apparently this moisturiser also contains sunscreen to filter out all the harmful UV rays that are gonna give you premature wrinkles and dark spots. It contains vitamin E and C. Can be used for light everyday wear.
*
I think this is really good for guys who want light coverage to cover blemishes yet look natural. The worse is a guy with a cakey face. However USD$44 is too expensive. Probably can get something similar at FACE SHOP or BODY SHOP.*
Perfekt Skin Prefection Gel
USD$57.50
This thing is sweat-resistant, water-resistant and contains all the vitamins your face needs. It's suppose to improve skin tone, reduces redness and covers up pores and wrinkles. Oil-free, fragrance-free and paraben-free (what's paraben?). Contains antioxidants and tons of vitamins.
*
With all that goodies in this 1oz bottle, no wonder it costs USD$57.50. Can I use this as well, even though I'm a girl? Will my face rot?*Jean Paul Gaultier released a new line of men's cosmetics, and I think it's so COOL. The packaging is so sleek and masculine. The Jean Paul Gaultier Monsieur line.

Powder Bronzer
USD$40
It comes with a compact mirror and brush, convenient to carry it around. No shimmer.
*It doesnt come with all the protective goodies. The good thing is that it has no shimmer though, unlike my one. Shimmer can sometimes make my colour looks fake, then again, it's fake. Hahaha.*
Concealer
USD$20
Slightly tinted fragrance-free concealer.
*Seriously, does guys need a concealer? Won't it be too heavy?*
Brow Definer Pencil
USD$14
Brow pencil, common sense is to define and shape your brows.
*Most guys have seriously thick and bushy brows, do they need to emphasize on it even more? I think it's more like trimming it till there's TWO clearly distinctive brows and not one joint one. Unibrow always remind me of this character in sesame street. I find unibrow a joke.*

Tout Beau - Sharp Eyes Kohl Pen & Concealer
USD$24
A dual action pen. Concealer to cover blemishes on one side and kohl pen on the other for those smokey rocker eyes.
*
Alright, this is a good buy. It's a 2-in-1 which is so compact, you can carry it around in your jeans backpocket. Smokey rocker eyes is the new trend.*
Lip Balm
USD$18
If you have no idea what a lip balm is for, please go back to primary school. There are 3 shades available.
*There's actually colour for men's lip balm? Some kinda lipstick or what? Seriously, one can get a lip balm that works as well and costs much lower. The only reason one wants to get this - because it's Jean Paul Gaultier that comes in a damn cool packaging.*I'm not sure if these products are available in SG yet and they do not ship it out of US for online shopping. However, you can always ask this nice pretty girl here. I can get it for you with no extra charges. I heard there's another popular US brand for men's skincare and cosmetics, Kenmen (
http://www.kenmen.net/).
I'm glad men these days are beginning to look after their skin. Afterall, it's a superficial world out there. It pays to look good now. Image and first impression are so insanely important, it doesnt make sense. Not everyone is gifted with intelligence or talents, hardwork only gets you this far. Probably looking prim and proper with a handsome face can get you even further. It'll probably be VERY useful if your boss is a woman. Hahaha. I'm making assumptions. But, women these days enjoy so much freedom and equality, it's not surprising if they openly show interest in men. Another thing, many women now dont really care if the guy is rich as they can earn their own keep or even a higher salary. Since they most likely already has enough money, they are probably looking for good-looking men.
Okay, I digressed. But this reminds me of the article I read on stomp. Something about SG girls being hot and SG guys are not. Hmm.. I agree and disagree at the same time. Contradicting? I know. Actually, I think SG girls and guys are better looking than many of our fellow asians (I'm not naming nationalities here.). So that's the agree part. This is the disagree part - The only problem with our guys, please give a damn about your appearance. They always dress so shabbily, they look like they just got out of bed without even changing or combing their hair. However hot or handsome they are, it's all covered by their shabbiness. SG guys' fashion = XXL T-shirts with berms to show off their sexy leg hair. Why do they always buy shirts that are obviously too big for them? Cooling? Yeah, I know, but it makes you look like you have no shoulder and havent eaten for 2 days. Shoulders are one of men's sexy body part, and they happily hide it under those oversized tees. You have broad shoulder? Flaunt it by wearing shirts that fit better. Shorts and berms are NOT for guys with hairy legs. Please do not break this fashion rule. Jeans are warm? Shave or wax your legs first. Few girls find the sight of hairy legs a turn-on. You work out at the gym regularly and has nice bulky arms? - I said bulky = muscular, not flabby- Show it off by wearing singlets or sleeveless, no, you dont look gay, you look hot. Serious.
